E’ di oltre 1,5 miliardi di euro il budget provvisorio del programma di lavoro 2016-2017 per le ICT di Horizon 2020

La Commissione Ue ha pubblicato il programma di lavoro provvisorio per il settore delle tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione (ICT) 2016-2017, nell'ambito del programma Ue per la ricerca e l'innovazione, Horizon 2020.

In linea con la precedente programmazione, il nuovo programma di lavoro continuerà a promuovere attività di innovazione e ricerca per assicurare che l’industria europea resti competitiva sul fronte delle ICT.

Nel dettaglio il programma di lavoro, che sarà approvato entro metà ottobre, 2016-2017 si concentrerà su:

  • il supporto all’industria ICT attraverso una roadmap sui partenariati pubblico privati (PPP),
  • il sostegno alle PMI, start up e imprenditoria digitale con temi e strumenti specifici,
  • il rafforzamento della cooperazione internazionale nel campo ICT.

Tali interventi saranno realizzati mediante diverse azioni, compresi 4 inviti a presentare proposte, articolati in vari temi (topic):

1. Information and Communication Technologies Call

1.7 Innovation and Entrepreneurship support

  • EUJ-03-2016: Experimental testbeds on Information-Centric Networking

3. Call - EU-Brazil Joint Call

  • EUB-02-2017: IoT Pilots

4. Call - EU-South Korea Joint Call

  • EUK-01-2016: 5G – Next Generation Communication Networks
  • EUK-02-2016: IoT joint research
  • EUK-03-2016: Federated Cloud resource brokerage for mobile cloud services

Tra le altre azioni previste dal programma di lavoro ci sono:

  • il Fast track to innovation,
  • lo strumento per le PMI (SMEinst-01-2016-2017 - Open Disruptive Innovation Scheme),
  • i premi Horizon per il settore ICT e dei big data (saranno annunciati tra il 2016-2017),
  • due eventi organizzati dalla Dg CONNECT (Digital Assembly per il 2016 e il 2017),
  • la realizzazione di conferenze e studi, tramite gare d’appalto coordinate dalla Dg CONNECT.

Il budget del programma di lavoro ammonta a oltre 1,5 miliardi di euro, di cui circa 763 milioni di euro per il 2016 e più di 807 milioni di euro per il 2017.
